Tropical smoothie


In February, I got to cross something big off my bucket list when I went with one of my best friends to Hawaii. It was everything I had hoped it would be: the sights, the experiences, the adventure, and the food. It feels nice to bring some of those flavors home, especially during this time when we’re living indoors. This smoothie is simple, with very few ingredients, and a whole lot of love and flavors from paradise.

Ingredients

1 cup of coconut milk

¼ cup of plain or vanilla kefir or yogurt

1 banana

1 cup of pineapple

1 cup of mango

Optional: chia seeds, hemp hearts, flaxseed, grated fresh carrots to add some veggies (this is how I got such a nice orange color)

Directions

Add ingredients to a blender, puree and enjoy.
